Born February 10, 1984, Mounir developed a passion for music during his childhood. Ever present, music found its way into his life at an early age when the sounds of Mounir's mother's beautiful voice cradled him; it inspired his passion for music. During his adolescence, Mounir experimented  with his music and began to develop his art by joining a rap group.  However, in 2001 when Mounir's best friend died in a traumatic motorcycle accident his world view changed. Realizing how fragile life is, Mounir experienced an awakening of his heart and soul. This experience caused him to reflect and repent.  It was in this state that he heard a new song by Yusuf Islam, If you ask me, whose lyrics and message captivated Mounir. Inspired, Mounir embarks on a mission to form a group whose purpose is to convey an appreciation for the Creator and His love.  In 2002, Mounir's new group emerges: Le Rappel (The Reminder).  Along with Mounir, members Hakim and Jamel release the first Le Rappel album Retour à l'essentiel. After many performances and interesting experiences, LeRappel decide to head in a new direction and add a new  talent to the group.  With lyricist Siham and composer Benammi joining the group, the second album Entre l'Homme et son coeur was released December 2010.  With the release of this album, Mounir, the young vocalist, became a complete artist.  Proud and grateful of the opportunities that God has offered, now more than ever  he yearns to please God, through the most beautiful of instruments  God has created: the voice.
